Socket Man: Returns & Refund Policy
At Socket Man, we want to ensure you have the right tools for the job. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, our returns policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and fully compliant with UK law.
1. If You Change Your Mind (Right to Cancel)
For items purchased online or by phone, you have a legal right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

The Window: You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to notify us of your intent to return it.

The Return: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back.

Condition: Tools must be returned in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition. You are permitted to inspect the tool as you would in a shop, but you must not "use" it.

Deductions for Use: If a tool shows signs of use (e.g., grease on a socket, scuffs on a wrench, or marks on a drill bit), we reserve the legal right to deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the loss in the tool's value.

Cost of Return: Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us.
2. Faulty or Damaged Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, every tool we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

The 30-Day Rule: If your tool develops a genuine fault within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.

After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months): If a fault occurs after the first 30 days, we are entitled to one opportunity to repair or replace the tool. If we cannot fix it or provide a replacement, you will then be entitled to a full refund.

Accidental Damage/Misuse: Please note that this policy does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, or normal wear and tear (e.g., using a chrome socket on an impact wrench).
3. Items That Cannot Be Returned
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

Safety Equipment: PPE, masks, or ear protectors where the packaging seal has been broken.

Custom Orders: Any tools or kits specially modified or "built-to-order" for you.
4. How to Return Your Item

Contact Us: Email "socket-man@gmail.com" with your order number and reason for return.

Pack securely: Ensure the tool is in its original box. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Socket Man is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Processing: Once we receive and inspect your item, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 14 days.
